Chapter Spotlight

With almost 350 members from the Washington, D.C., metro area, the Capital Chapter is one of the largest and most vibrant LMA chapters in the nation. Our mission is to foster our members' development and success by building an inclusive, professional community through educational programs, social events and peer interaction. We host programs on everything from tracking software to press relations to how general counsels think. In late 2007, we presented a highly successful one-day mini-MBA program. We offer two exciting social events each year: a Summer Social and a winter Holiday Party. We have published a Resource Guide listing professionals in dozens of specialties who can assist our members. Through four specialized Roundtables, we assist niche groups among our membership. We publish a bimonthly electronic newsletter, "Capital Ideas," with features that are relevant to our members' professional lives.
