L.A. Story - Annual Conference in Sight
My first-ever trip to Los Angeles couldn’t come at a better time. In Chicago, the already-long winter has yet to ebb. When you’re downright giddy as the temperature reaches 35 degrees and the days grow longer, just imagine what a few days in L.A. will do for your Seasonal Affective Disorder.
LMA education and meetings staff put together a fantastic conference for professional development and
networking. Each day there’s a compelling session topic, keynote address and social event. Having The Hollywood Highlands open just for us on Thursday night is going to be fantastic. Work may inevitably come up in conversation, but who’ll complain when it’s in such a “hot” venue (channeling Paris Hilton).
In the coming days, I’ll be posting entries on the events I attend. If you have a tip or experience something extraordinary, feel free to e-mail me in confidence. No mean-spirited or cynical submissions, please.
