Green Hasson & Janks (GH&J) is currently searching for a Marketing Manager that will work to support the GH&J’s business objectives and marketing initiatives. The main role of the Marketing Manger is to work in partnership with leadership group to provide strategic marketing, targeting and leadership expertise for specific industries.
Energetic, original thinker who will direct all marketing efforts in this growing Top 20 Los Angeles area accounting firm. This high-exposure position needs a self-starter with exemplary creative thinking and idea generation abilities to hit the ground running and manage projects, develop niche marketing programs, manage all aspects of the proposal process, direct database and website activities, plan conferences and design follow-up programs. The Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating, implementing, supporting and leading all marketing and business development activities in conjunction with the Partner in charge of marketing.

Specific requirements

  • Qualifications
  • • Minimum 5 years marketing experience, preferably in a professional services firm
  • • College graduate with an emphasis… Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications or journalism
  • • Participative management style, advocates team concept
  • • Willingness to complete projects after hours, if necessary
  • • Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along well with diverse personalities; tactful, mature and flexible
  • • Ability to effectively lead, motivate and persuade non-marketers
  • • Self motivated, responsible, detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with Partners and Management Team
  • • Able to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with Firm Management Team and marketing group to accomplish business goals
  • • Able to respond to specialty area marketing needs, assist in prioritize marketing initiative and services to achieve Firm goals
  • • Able to meet busy deadlines and keep commitments
  • • Experience in organization of special events
  • • Experience in business development in a professional services industry would be a plus
  • • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe and desktop publishing computer software programs
